Fruit of Offense | BPS9 E07

Fidelis Emuze Season 9 Episode 7

Title: The Fruit of Offense: The Seed of Unforgiveness in Absalom
Anchor Text: Proverbs 19:11
Contemporary Quote:
*"Holding a grudge doesn’t make you strong; it makes you bitter. Forgiving doesn’t make you weak; it sets you free." — Dave Willis

Offense is often the unseen seed of disunity. Many leaders, like Absalom, may appear calm on the outside while they harbor unresolved hurt within. This silent offense poisons relationships, weakens ministries, and eventually explodes in destructive behavior.

A godly leader processes offense through prayer, wise counsel, and the Word—not through silence and scheming.

Search your heart:

  • Are you harboring silent offenses?
  • Has a leader or sibling in ministry hurt you?
  • Are you masking bitterness behind silence?

Bring that pain to God. Speak truth in love. Ask the Lord for the grace to forgive before offense turns into hatred. Don’t let silence become sin.
