Fruit of Bitterness | BPS9 E10

Fidelis Emuze Season 9 Episode 10

Title: The Fruit of Bitterness: When the Heart Turns Cold
Anchor Text: Heb. 12:15
Contemporary Quote:
*"Bitterness is like cancer. It eats upon the host. But anger is like fire. It burns it all clean." — Maya Angelou

Bitterness in leadership:

  • Fosters manipulation instead of mentorship.
  • Prioritizes image over integrity.
  • Treats past wounds as licenses for present rebellion.

A bitter leader is cold, critical, and combative. They stop building and start blaming.

  • Is there bitterness in you—rooted in past offense, injustice, or pain?
  • Are you critical of others more than you pray for them?

Bitterness must be dug out, not suppressed. Today, choose the humility to let God cleanse what time has not healed.
