Title: Forgiveness and Leadership: Lessons from David and Absalom
Anchor Text: Colossians 3:13

From Absalom and David, we learn that:

  • Forgiveness builds legacy; unforgiveness destroys it.
  • Forgiveness promotes peace; unforgiveness breeds rebellion.
  • Forgiveness trusts in God’s justice; unforgiveness feeds the illusion of self-righteousness.
  • Forgiveness sustains leadership; unforgiveness sabotages it.

As we conclude this season, ask yourself:

  • Am I leading from the strength of forgiveness or the weakness of offense?
  • Is my leadership nourishing others or contaminating them?

Choose the path of David, not Absalom. Lead from mercy, not malice. Step forward in humility, trusting God's grace.
